"Today we are just as committed to create beautiful and durable handcrafted leather goods as our predecessors, celebrating old and proud traditions in a contemporary context."
Handmade leather goods since 1807
The Atelier Made Architect's Belt is meticulously crafted in our workshop in Copenhagen, following traditional leatherworking techniques and entirely made by hand. For these belts, we use the finest vegetable-tanned British bridle leather sourced from only the best quality cattle hides within the UK.
We take pride in our work, and every belt comes with a craftsmanship certificate signed by the artisan who made it by hand.
These belts are exclusively available directly from us. Every Belt is made to order and production time is approx. two-three weeks. If you need it faster, send us an e-mail and we will do our best to have it ready sooner.
The Architect's belt is a Dahlman classic Originally designed in the 1940s, and with its minimalistic aesthetics and high quality, it's been one of our signature products ever since.
Many famous modernist designers and architects wore this belt in the 50s and 60s, among these cultural icons such as Arne Jacobsen, Børge Mogensen and Miles Davis.
We also offer these belts in a custom size without any extra cost. Just choose "Custom size" when ordering online or stop by our shop and We’ll help with the measuring. We also have a guide on our website if you’re unsure how to do the correct measurement. You can find the guide here.
